We request for a maximum of 30days from the day of payment before full service can commence to enable us complete all documentations.
The period shall be used for:

• ID-card production
• Registration of staff and families in the selected hospitals in our network of providers,
• Paying the selected doctors capitations
• Collect performance bond from healthcare providers

 
PROFFESSIONAL INTERRACTIONS IN MHS
In MHS, we coordinate the services of various health professionals to give you the highest quality of health care services in Nigeria. This means that for the premium you paid you can enjoy the services of General Practice Doctors, Specialist, Pharmacists, Laboratory technologist, Radiographers, etc, at no extra cost to you or your organization through out the year

REFERRALS
We have the best referrals system. From Primary Care Provider, you can be referred to see a Specialist, X-ray/scan, Laboratory test, etc, at no extra cost.  In the event of transfer or travelling out of your present station, you can also receive medical services in emergency cases from any of our providers nationwide at no extra cost.

MALPRACTICE INSURANCE
To ensure total compliance by providers to the ethics of international standard of medical practice we request a 5million Naira worth of mal-practice insurance from our providers nationwide.

IDENTIFICATION
Each employee/subscriber must complete our registration form with passport photograph of him/herself and each dependant being enrolled. With the passport photograph an I.D card will be issued to each enrolee.  The Identity Card must be presented to the primary care provider in all visits for medical attention. The Identity Card is not transferable.
                                                                                                           
LEGAL AGREEMENT
A contractual agreement will be signed by both of us to consolidate our relationships.

In Nigeria, MHS is the health management organization that combines various remuneration methods for providers to ensure that the risk in managing our subscriber’s health is equitably distributed. In order not to leave our subscribers at the mercy of anyone, we pay capitation only for their visits to the primary care provider for the year. Any extra cost incurred from Specialist consultations, drugs, laboratory test, x-ray/scan, hospitalisations, etc, are paid for separately on a fee-for-service. This ensures that the doctor gives the best quality of medical service available to our subscribers without looking for cheaper alternatives to save cost.
